Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Web Developer with a strong background in HTML, web accessibility standards, and a thorough understanding of Title IV regulations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in updating and maintaining the "College Financial Plan" template, ensuring compliance with Section 508 and Title IV requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update and maintain the "College Financial Plan" template, ensuring it is robust, accessible, and compliant with the latest web, Title IV, and Section 508 standards.
  • Implement, test, and maintain accessibility features in accordance with Section 508 to ensure an inclusive user experience.
  • Interpret and apply Title IV regulations in the context of financial aid information presented in the template, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, policy analysts, department leaders, and other stakeholders to understand and integrate Title IV requirements into the template design and functionality.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and updates of the template to ensure ongoing compliance with Title IV and accessibility standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Title IV within the web development team, providing guidance and insight on compliance matters.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in web development with a strong focus on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Proficient understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards and experience in creating accessible web content.
  • Knowledgeable about Title IV regulations and their application in higher education financial aid processes.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
